Truck loads, cubic yards, pipe quantities and trench take-offs.
Bulk material and truck loads
Edit planning factors
Density is tonnes per loose cubic metre loaded on the truck. Truck capacity is tonnes per load. Changes are saved in this browser.
Marl defaults to 1.6 t/m³ for planning, not a verified density for this quarry. Calibrate using weighbridge mass and measured loose load volume; do not substitute compacted in-place density.
Pipe and trench take-off
Estimate straight pipe lengths and trench quantities. Use the outside diameter from the selected pipe specification.
Straight constant-width trench only. Excludes sockets, fittings, manholes, widening, overbreak, compaction, bulking and losses. Check drawings for bedding and surround requirements.
Pipe fall and end invert
For a straight run, use a slope ratio such as 1:100. Positive fall means the end invert is lower.
Geometry check only, not hydraulic sizing or design approval. Confirm direction, datum and gradient on approved drawings.
